A Weekend Trip For The Boys, Mumma And Nanny Trish

We headed off to Terrigal for a holiday with Nanny on Saturday morning, Terrigal is in the Central Coast, about 1.5-hours drive away from Sydney. On the way up, Felix wasn't happy to be traveling, crying most of the way, so we took our time stopping at the lake for a walk around and then stopping at Australian Reptile Centre for a look and lunch. The Australian Reptile Centre is excellent with a spider house, snake house, all types of Australian animals walking around, like Kangaroos, Koala and Tasmanian Devils. We have been there before with Jarvis, but this was Nanny and Felix's first time. Felix just loves the animals so he was very happy to 1. be out of the car and 2. to be able to get up close to touch the animals. After the lunch stop we drove to Terrigal to stay at the Crowne Plaza for a couple of days.

The Crowne Plaza was a lovely hotel right on the beach in Terrigal and Jarvis was delighted to be so close to the beach and kept asking to go. Luckily the weather was lovely so we spent quite a lot of time at the beach. We got some great shots of the boys building castles and collecting treasures.

On our way back today we stopped off at Luna Park, this time the trip was a breeze with both boys sleeping the whole way so we thought we would give them a run around at Luna Park before heading home to see Dah. Luna Park is always fun as Jarvis loves the rides, today it was especially good as he had his Nanny to watch all the cool rides and I got to go on the rides as well. Its usually pretty tricky going on the rides with both boys as Felix isn't allowed on them yet so he just gets to watch, not that it bothers him he loves all the movement and colours. Jarvis loved the big slide in Cooney Island, to be honest its pretty scary and high up but it doesn't worry him at all.

We got home this afternoon to see a Dah waiting on the doorstep for us, I think he missed his boys. His boys also missed him as they wouldn't get off him for the next hour, wresting, climbing and cuddling their Dah.

All in all it was a lovely break with Nanny, we got to have a look around and spend some quality time with the boys.
