Blue Mountains - Day Two

After a great breakfast at the guest house, we drove down into the valley for a look. It was nice to be driving in a rain forest again. It was not as wet and as lush as back home, but it was very nice to be among some greenery. Saying that, we passed a campsite and both went "Ewww, thanks but no thanks, let stick to hotels for our wee breaks"

We then drove to Leura for a spot of lunch and a look around. While in Leura we checked out the Toy and Railway Museum. It was pretty good and Jarvis enjoyed the model trains outside. We also spent some time in the grounds playing hide-n-seek. What a nice wee town it was too, with some very quaint shops. But after lunch, it was time to hit the road and head on home.

Now only 2-hours later, I'm sat at the PC updating the blog after a wonderful weekend with my beautiful family. Thank you to Jarvis for being the perfect son and enjoying our weekend away. Also a MASSIVE thank you to the beautiful Adrienne, for being the best wife and friend I could ever ask for. And for finally letting me cash in that 'What-ever' voucher from a few weeks back ;O)

House Dad.
