Words of Wisdom from Aunty Sophie - Zoo

Jarvis and I had a wonderful time at the zoo this morning. It would have been our best trip out ever. Jarvis was fun, chatty, full of life and most enjoyable of all, full of cuddles. We both wore jeans and sneakers for the first time this year, as it was raining, and I was stunned at how grown-up he looked. Check out the size of the seed pod in Jarvis' hand that landed on my shoulder - it could have killed me!

Today's Words of Wisdom come from my very good buddy Sophie, who is currently in Canada with her partner Bjorn (both pictured below)

Always respect and listen to your Ma and Pa, they have done the most amazing job bringing you up and even though you may think you are too cool for them one day, remember that they are totally hip and cool too (even your dorky Dad, honestly!) Always remember where you are from, don't let those bloody Ozzies stake claim on you! Do me proud and make sure you make as much noise as possible wherever possible and embarrass the hell outta your Dad. Make great friends and always cherish them, good friends will last a lifetime. When you have children, name them Sophie. Give your Mum lots of cuddles, Mum's love cuddles more than you know. Find someone beautiful to dance with and once you have found her, do not let her go.

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright. I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more. I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive. I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting. I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess. I wish you enough hellos to get you through all the good-byes.

House Dad.
