Baby First

Jarvis and I had our first time with Maureen Perry of Baby First today. We went along early to get Jarvis acquainted with the environment. I won't try and explain the idea behind Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE) now as we've only been once. However, I'll write more once we get to grips with this form of successful parenting approach.

After leaving Maureen's we picked up Auntie Sophie and had our weekly Burger King, which is always a laugh. Sophie is off to Sydney in two-weeks, and as I said today, "thanks Sophie for showing such interest in our Jarvis, it's wonderful as a parent, when someone shows such interest your child. Thank you."

One thing though; we've been doing BK every week for six-months now and I'm the only one who seem to be getting fatter!

Tomorrow is Jarvis's 1st Birthday and we have Working Mum all to ourselves. It will be such a special day for the whole whanau.
