Instant Lawn

I headed off into the uncharterd area of Mascot, early this morning to find the Bunnings store (D.I.Y) It was quite exciting driving to a new district of Sydney on my own. Once at the store I purchased all the bits I needed for Jarvis' Xmas project, which is to mount a wooden Thomas the Tank Engine set to a board and add a few bits and pieces. This project is half funded by Jarvis' grandparents in the UK. Thanks guys for the funds to do this. Anyway, whilst there I spotted some astro-turf and thought that it would make a great covering for the sloping, concrete covered yard we have. Jarvis has scrapes and scratches all over his body from the concrete. So yeah, bought the astro-turf and laid it with the help of Working Mum and Jarvis of course. It looks VERY tacky and we are thinking of adding some plastic pink flamingos, garden gnomes and a big plastic windmill, but it's made the yard a lot safer for Jarvis.
