Flu At The Zoo

Even though I'm bunged up with Flu, I thought some fresh air and a trip to the zoo would be nice, and it was. It didn't cure my bug, but Jarvis got to burn off loads of energy and scuff up his new shoes.

I've been trying to find a pair of open ended sandal's for Jarvis over the last couple of weeks. The problem has been that the shops now only have their winter stock in, and Jarvis and I have plenty of climbing, jumping and other boy stuff to do in the heat. On our way to the zoo, I spotted a shoe shop in Mossman and pulled over. After trying on different pairs, we settled on a nice pair of Italian ones. Then it was off to the zoo to scuff them up, so we could be real boys.

Once home, we both slept for 2.5 hours, which was wonderful. We played blocks and prepared dinner for when Adrienne comes home. Now I'm off to bed with a book and some lemsip.
