Mum's Away - Day One

I've been a bit slack with the blog over the last few days, as Jarvis and I had a falling out on Friday, and it gave my confidence as a parent a wee knock. It was over dinner, Jarvis would not eat and I lost my temper and we had our first time out for 3-minutes. It really upset the both of us and I've felt a bit shaken since. Now I've had some time to reflect, I feel better and keen to get stuck back into my parenting and the blog.

Adrienne flew off to a conference in Coff's Harbour this morning, leaving behind her boys, which I know she found hard. Never mind, it can't be avoided and it's only for four days. Anyway, I grabbed a picture of the beautiful Adrienne and Jarvis saying goodbye, before Jarvis and I got stuck into making a picture for his mum. Is there more pen on Jarvis or the paper?

Whilst drawing the picture, Jarvis insisted on taking my picture, so here it is, Lee on a Sunday, unshaven and with no product in my hair. This really is a warts and all blog eh! Eek, it's only a few weeks until my 40th and I look so old!!!

After completing the picture and another slight conflict over dinner, the boys had a bath. Jarvis was delighted to be wrapped in a towel and pranced around the house.
