So once Felix had woken up, we all bundle into the car for the 15-minute drive to Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre. It was a very warm and sunny day, so as expected, place was very busy. Great, a higher density of pee!
After paying to go in, Jarvis then bought a pair of goggles and a kick-board. He was so excited and jumping with joy, just busting to get into the water. Felix wasn't too fussed and was just happy to wander around and point at stuff and wave hello to everyone. Perfect, I'll stick with Felix, so that Adrienne and Jarvis can swim in the diluted pee water!
It as a pretty good aquatic centre too, with a wave machine, slides, whirlpools and spraying water. Adrienne and Jarvis spent ages playing and swimming before I insisted that we go outside to eat our picnic. I'm glad we did, as it was such a lovely sunny day, just perfect for warming up a wee four-year-old, who was shivering and smiling with blue lips!
After letting our lunch go down, Adrienne and Jarvis went back into the water for another swim, until we all headed home for a lovely rest. I'm so glad that I spent some time with all the family on an outing. I should do it more. Plus, Adrienne looked so slim and gorgeous and not at all like a Mother of two, that she may get lucky tonight! Yeah right, As per normal, everyone will be fast asleep by 8pm. Parenting - the perfect contraception!
House Dad.
