Jarvis and I had a wonderful time in Auckland, however after nearly a week of just the boy and I in Sydney and Auckland, I was really looking forward to getting some help with Mr. Whirlwind, as he'd pretty much worn me out. Jarvis was getting some sleep time on the road between visits, however I had to run on caffeine and V drinks to keep me going.
The flight was really cool and we spotted heaps of volcanoes on our flight from Auckland to Christchurch and even got a full view of Taranaki looming large above the clouds.
after meeting Ade at the airport, we picked up our Kea camper van and drove over the Southern Alps to Adrienne's hometown of Greymouth, where we'll park up and spend the next couple of days with Trish and Alan, Jarvee's grandparents.
While I sorted out the beds in the camper, Jarvis, Adrienne, Trish and Tama (the dog) went for a walk to the beach to burn off some of the energy Jarvis had stored up during his 3-hour drive over the Southern Alps.
It's now just after nine and we are about to spend our first night in the camper van. We've been keeping Jarvis on Sydney time, to make it easier when we get back home. Fingers crossed, Jarvis will drop off to sleep quickly, so Adrienne might climb into bed with me, then again, Version 2.0 has already been made, so I guess I'm surplus to demand now!
House Dad.

NZ sounds lovely!
I have got to get me and my family near a beach or any kind. Preferably close by.
Great looking weather on the coast (for a change!) and trust you will lose the t-shirt before you arrive back in Crusaders Country Lee! Safe travelling.
Charlie.
