We jumped on the 10.30am train and got off at Town Hall, so we could have a run around, look at the sights and generally burn off some energy, as Jarvis has now officially dropped his lunch time nap. Jarvis is coping well, still a total whirlwind for all his waking hours, it's just me who is struggling with the change, but you'll get that when you get up every morning at 4.30am to do emails and go running. I'm sure I'll adapt soon enough, but I don't think I'll be getting anymore of those comments from other parents about how good I am to do so many things with Jarvis. I'll need to pace myself a lot better now and when I have two to look after, OMG, that will be a struggle. But hey, it's hard work for ALL parents and it is such a privileged to do what I do each day.
In Pitt Street, Jarvis took the time to help out the local council and do a spot of street cleaning, a task that amused hundreds of people, as he merrily worked away. We then went into what must be one of the greatest shops for boys in the world, Hobbyco. It would be the biggest and best model and toy shop I've ever seen, it's massive. If you live in Sydney and are stuck for a present for your boy or husband, just pop into Hobbyco, it's staggering. I've got my eye on a MASSIVE Scalextric set for Christmas.
While in Hobbyco, Jarvis had the most wonderful surprise, as his most favourite person in the world, his Mumma turned up to meet us for lunch. So off we headed to McDonalds for some kai and a play around. Adrienne was looking absolutely stunning, by far the most beautiful and sexy woman in he whole of Sydney today. She was even showing some cleavage, which is most unlike her, but then when your boobs are getting bigger by the day, that can't really be helped I suppose.
Then it was time to come home and check the bills (see pic) make sure the sticky lizard (see pic) that Dah threw onto the ceiling a few days ago, is still stuck up there and for Jarvis to totally rearrange his DVD collection, that his Dah had categorised, into a lovely tower (see pic). But none of this upsets me, as I'm on cloud nine because my beautiful wife bought me the MOST AMAZING present yesterday, which is a Navman R300. These things cost a bomb and are the most amazing things that via GPS, so I can work out how far and fast I run each morning, how many calories I burn and heaps of other amazing things. Of course I had no idea how to set it up and make it work, but that's why I have such a fantastic and clever wife who can do these things for me. I love you Adrienne, you truly rock oxo
House Dad.
