So off we set, taking the stroller with us, as we had to pick up some other bits. On the way we picked fairies (dandelions) and tried in vain to get people to smile or say hello. It must be a city thing, but not many people say hello or smile here and it gets me down a bit. It's moments like this that I miss home, with it's warm friendly people.
Once we got to the shops we went into a DIY store and bought a brush. There were heaps of other things that I needed, but Jarvis in a shop full of drills, saws and other sharp objects is very, very stressful. We then went into a kind of toy/science shop and bought a Pirate Ball and Pirate ring. It was a cool shop, but yeah...Our next stop was the deli to pick up some lunch before heading back home, via a different route to gather more fairies.
After we'd feed and watered ourselves, it was time to get stuck into some painting, but Jarvis hid his paint brush within 30-seconds of being given it. I searched high and low, but had no idea where he'd stuck it, so he had to do with a wee one from his paint set. It started well as you can see from the pictures, however after about 2-minutes Jarvis had moved from painting the walls and onto the floor!
So after 2-days at home, let's just say that the boys are busting to get out tomorrow and play with some of our buddies, as we are fit, healthy and itching to go have some fun.
Bonus Video: I thought I'd shot a quick 30-second video clip today and post it on YouTube so you could see how well Jarvis speaking is coming on. Does he have an English, New Zealand or Australian accent?
