I'm not sure about Adrienne, but as I unpacked the cloths, I had a rush of emotion, because up until now I've been busy looking after Jarvis and running the household, however the sight of the baby cloths made me realise that we are having another baby and pretty soon too. I just can't believe how small Jarvee's old baby cloths are, was he once that small? I think it did effect Adrienne thinking about it, as she said that she suddenly felt pregnant today, so the sight of the baby stuff must have kicked in for her too.
As far as Jarvis is concerned, I think he's just stoked to have all this stuff that appears to be new, but is in fact old. Typical of a Little Person too, he found great delight in playing with the cardboard boxes, as you can see from the picture below, where he is behind Adrienne, who is holding up a wee pair of booties. As I took the picture, Adrienne was muttering "I dare not look behind me, as I know whatever he's up to will frighten me." If only Adrienne knew what we got up to in the week when she's not around.
After sorting stuff out, we took a walk in the sunshine to a really cool toy shop about 15-minutes walk from us, down the Parramatta road called Kids Stuff. Nothing unusual there except for the fact that for the first time ever, we came out without buying anything. We did however stop into McDonald's on the way home, as we were all a little hungry from the walk and knew that we couldn't be bothered cooking after walking in the sunshine for over an hour.
Once back Jarvis scored a soccer ball from his buddy Scott from next door. It was a lovely gesture, though I quickly ran out into the backyard to get a rugby ball, just to remind Jarvis that I have him down as a future All-Black one day and not a soft-cock soccer player!
House Dad.

You must be so excited having a new baby in the house. My last baby is already 13 months. He still breastfeed, but he's growing old. One of these days, I really must put away his infant clothes, but I can't just yet.
I have tons of Gymboree blankets and matching baby stuff, mostly for boys because after baby #1, I never have any girls.
My daughter told me to save it for her baby when she grows up and married and have children. I cannot tell you the relief I felt when the order of business is "grows up" followe by "marriage" and then "kids".
