Way back in February when Adrienne and Jarvis went home to New Zealand for a week, I took a St John course in First Aid for Little People, that taught me the basics of looking after wee ones in an emergency. Well I'm thinking of contacting St John again and asking them if they do a course catering for injuries not for the little ones, but for the olds who get injured by their own off-spring. In the last few years I've been jumped on, been hit in the head, sustained many bruises and received many times what I consider to be the worst in man injuriesl, the dreaded knee/foot/elbow or head to the testicular area. That was until this morning, when as normal I got up before dawn for my daily run. Being asthmatic, I always have a massive chug on my inhaler before leaving, so as to really open up the lungs in the cold morning air. So as per normal, I put the inhaler to my lips and took a big draw of air and pressed to the top of the inhaler to release its contents. Within seconds I was gagging for air as my airway was blocked by what seemed to be an object that had travelled at the speed of light and lodged itself in my throat. OMG! I dropped to my knees and thought what on earth is happening, am I going to die? Somehow I managed to punch my chest hard enough to dislodge the offending article and in the half light looked in disbelief at the spit covered grape in my hand, that my dear beloved son Jarvis Tahi had stuck in my inhaler the previous night. Thanks son!
It wasn't all bad today though, as we had a lunchtime visit from Manz and Sally, who of course only came to see Jarvis who welcomed them into 'his house'. I went out earlier and brought loads of scrummy foods and cakes from a local Italian delicatessen, which we devoured in the beautiful autumn sunshine. The only downside was that we had to sit amongst all the baby cloths washing, that I'm still doing 48-hours later at 8.15pm. However, I am on my last load now. Anyway, it was great to see the girls and Jarvis even managed to get Manz into his wee tent, which was quite a sight, as Manz with her great legs had a very short skirt on. We even got a flash of her red knickers...ha ha ;o)

OMG. Sorry if I laughed, but yesterday, while sitting down to watch some TV show (Grey's Anatomy) because it was David and my 15 year 2nd wedding anniversary when Yoash (the baby) decided that he doesn't like his Abba's head on my lap. He climbed on my lap and his toes and heels landed on David's eyeballs.
That's end, the end of TV date. I thought I was going to have to bring my husband to the eye doctor to check if he had busted an eyeball.
I have to say that I am sporting about 3 bruises on my arms. Yoash, the baby, decided that he's going to be a dog and my arms is his bone. He had bitten me three times before I noticed that he was trying to bark. Duh!

Lee, where's your counter?
Yeah the counter. A few eeeks back I had a virus in our PC which was in I.E, so I had to reinstall windows, but still couldn't get rid of the virus, even though I have Norton and stacks of other security. I now use Firefox as my browser, which so far is bug free. Anyway, in the process for some reason Sitemeter stopped working. I now use Google Analytics:
google.com/analytics/home/ It's amazing how much info it tells you about your readers. I will though, as you've reminded me, try and get another counter up.
