A Wonderful Play Date In The Sun

We've just come back from a lovely trip out to see one of Jarvis school buddies Oliver. Oliver is by and far Jarvis favorite little person at pre-school and the two of them are like peas in a pod. It was also nice to spend time with Oliver's parents David and Jane, as we don't really get too much of a chance to talk in depth while waiting for our wee ones, before and after school. Adrienne also got to meet Oliver's older twin siblings Zachery and Madison, who like Oliver, are just the most delightful little people.

It's the first time that we've been out and done something socially with other parents and little people from Jarvis school and I must say, it was wonderful and made us feel more settled here in Sydney.

Jarvis loved all Oliver, Zachery and Madison's toys, as to him they were all new and exciting. I think the highlight for Jarvis was the piano, that he bashed out some beautiful noises on and chasing Moodle, their fluffy wee dog around the garden. We'd love to be in a position to have a dog or cat for Jarvis, but with such a small house, I don't think it would be practical. We'll that's my excuse, which has worked up until now ;o)

So yeah, everyone had the most wonderful trip out and we'd like to say a MASSIVE thank you to our new friends for having us over for a play date. It was so good, that Adrienne, Jarvis and Felix are all in bed having a nap at 4.30pm. Why am I not sleeping? We'll in 45-minutes, my Super 14 team The Crusaders take on The Waratahs from Sydney in the 2008 Super 14 final, back home in Christchurch, New Zealand. Will I be a happy Dah and be able to wear my Crusaders shirt around Sydney this week? Mmm, we'll see.

House Dad.
