On Wednesday Dah let me ride my new scooter to school. The 300-metre journey from the car to school now only takes 10-minutes, as I have to show every passerby by new scooter.
After school, I came home to find that Dah had brought my castle and pirate ship down from the loft. I've got the coolest Dah aye.
As they do most afternoons after 4pm, Signe and the girls came round for a quick play. Of course we all had to climb into the castle, where I was the king.
Thursday
Today it was my turn to take my favorite book Kapai's New Mates into class, so that I could tell my friends all about it. Then Suzanna, my Teacher, read the story, with me saying some of the lines. Dah cleverly wrote in pencil the words that were in Maori, phonetically, so that my Teacher could pronounce them.
After school, Dah busted me feeding my little Brother Felix jelly snakes. He thought it was funny, but insisted that he take a whole jelly snake out of Felix' mouth, as he reckoned it was a choking hazard. My Dah is such a saftey geek!
As Felix and I were now loaded with suger from the jelly snakes, we decided that we'd practice our rugby tackling, as our Dah wants us to both be future All-Blacks/CanterburyCrusaders.
Friday
At last a dry sunny day in Sydney. We made the most of the weather by playing outside for ages. It was great to play on the swing set that Nanny and Granddad in England got for our birthdays.
Look at me, I've got glowing eyes just like my hero Astro Boy.
I'm Jarvis the builder, can I break it, yes I can. But it doesn't matter, as Dah will clean up the mess!
House Dad.
