Little Dynamo's With Beloved Mumma

I limped home from a club run this morning with an ITB injury, which is pretty much one of the most common knee injuries in runners. If I look into it now, I should be right in a few weeks, however it meant that I had to spend the day doing the R.I.C.E method of recovery. A whole day on the sofa, with my knee in ice and elevating it...bugger! The biggest downside though, is that I couldn't play with my boys.

To keep Jarvis and Felix from clambering all over their sore Dah, Adrienne took them off to Little Dynamo's, as it was a bit overcast today. Adrienne told me that Jarvis was in and took off to play with some new friends. Our wee man is so confident and just loves hanging with other little people. He did however come back for a while to teach his younger Brother how to bounce on the baby bouncing castle. So yeah, a lovely day for my babies at Little Dynamo's.

Jarvis was exhausted on his return and duly fell asleep after his lunch. It's good that he sleeps though, as he'd be grumpy all afternoon, after such a full on morning without any sleep.

As I write this post, Adrienne, Jarvis and Felix are about 2-metres away from me, watching a DVD. I think I'll close now and jump in for some cuddles from my beautiful whanau. Have a lovely week ahead everyone :o)

House Dad.
