The Boys Are Back In Town

It's good to be back blogging after we decided to take a week off and relax at home, after what had been an awful few weeks for us with bugs and exhaustion. It was also wonderful to be out and about in the sunshine again, as we took the short 20-minute drive over to The Sydney Zoo this morning. Our membership expired a couple of months ago, but now with spring on it's way, it seemed like a good time to renew.

Sydney Zoo is always fun for our family, as it's such a great place to visit and even though there are lots and lots of renovations going on inside it's grounds, you can tell that when it's all completed, it's going to be awesome.

Out trips to the zoo are always fun, as Jarvis starts off by picking up a map and then leading us around the place for the next couple of hours. Jarvis threw a curve ball this morning and took us on a totally different route than he'd normally do. It was great, as we found some totally new areas to explore.

The highlight for me though was when Jarvis didn't moan when I asked him to hold Felix's hand. he quite happily took his wee Brothers hand and lead him along and a nice slow pace. Felix was delighted and couldn't stop beaming.

House Dad.
