Uh Ah Alana

The boys had a big mission on today, as we had to go to our favorite place The Powerhouse Museum to say goodbye to our buddy Alana. Alana, along with Louise have been a wonderful friend to us every time we visit the members lounge to relax and play. It's always a joy to go and see their smiling faces, score a fresh cup of coffee and some teddy bear biscuits. Anyway, Alana is off to New York to study, so we all wish her the very best and will miss her heaps. All the best Alana :o)

Today at The Powerhouse I encountered a new problem with the boys. Up until now taking pictures has been a breeze, as Felix has never been walking, however he's pretty much moving around upright now, meaning that today I missed some great pictures for the blog, as I needed to keep track of the wee guy. This explains why I only have three usable pictures for todays post.

We also took along our friends Nicole and Tahlia to The Powerhouse Museum, which was funny, as Nicole hadn't been there since she was at school, way back when. Wee Tahlia had a wonderful time playing in the members lounge, with the dolls house and at Zoe's place. Sadly, with the ever moving Felix, I didn't manage to get a single picture of the wee cutie :o(

The highlight of our trip was the Space section, as it has the coolest exhibit - a moving space lab, that Jarvis just loves. It's tricky to get a decent picture or video, as it's very dark inside, except when it stops, but I've added a picture and video below to give you an idea. Jarvis loves it, but Felix and I wait outside, as I think Dah and mini Dah both suffer from motions sickness.
