Just The Best Day Ever!

I had plenty of extra sleeps over the weekend, so felt amped this morning and wanted to have a full on day with the boys. So it was that we drove over to Sydney Zoo, as the weather was gorgeous today. Jarvis though, left the house with his Emo black painted finger nails, which I thought was really cool.

Jarvis was such a good Brother too, as I was keen to let Felix have as much time on his feet as possible, as it drives me crazy seeing little people strapped into prams/strollers so much. I appreciate that it's very hard for people when you have 2+ little people to look after, but I just have always liked my boys to move around as much as possible. But Jarvis was just wonderful, not running off and allowing Felix the time to catch up.

As with last week, the first thing we do on arrival is for Jarvis to go and ask politely for a free map, so that he can be the leader and show us around the zoo. Today he took us around some new parts that we'd not seen before and it was marvelous. Jarvis had discovered for us The Southern Oceans exhibit, which was just incredible and houses the seals, sea lions and penguins. I'd seen it on the news a few months back when it opened, but only this morning got to experience what a marvelous enclosure it is.

The trip was wrapped up with a ride on the Sky Train to the bottom of the zoo and back up again. The boys just delight going on the gondola and could probably go round and round and round if the could.

So yeah, today was the most wonderful day and Jarvis was just the best Son and Big Brother ever :o)
