And Some Sunday Stuff Too...

Jarvis and I were up bright and early, as we had to go and visit our running buddies from The Sydney Striders. Jarvis insisted on wearing his Little Athletics strip, as he wanted to show Manal and his buddy Thalia that he's now an athlete. It was so nice to see my running mates and a bonus for Jarvis, as Phil, the Marathon Training Group Leader and his partner Fiona had brought along their wee girl Izzy. Jarvis and Izzy had a wonderful time playing together, which allowed me some time to chat with my buddies.

When Jarvis and I left the house at about 7.00am, I told Adrienne that we'd b about 20-minutes. However, we were having such a wonderful time, I'd totally lost track of the hour and we ended up arriving back over 2-hours later. All well and good, but it meant that we were now VERY late for wee Ava's birthday party...oops!

So it was quick baths and a change of clothes for Jarvis and I, before heading north to attend Ava's second birthday party. We didn't arrive that late that we missed all the fun and still managed to play some games with Dora The Explorer, who wee Ava just adores. Jarvis even had his face painted like a pirate by Dora.

As the weather in Sydney right now is wet and windy, we've all been tucked up inside sleeping this afternoon. It's so nice at the weekend, that we always manage to slip in the odd nana-nap, that sets us up for the week ahead.
