Jarvis was delighted to say the least and had to say "Hi, I'm a wizard" to everyone at the bus stops, as we crawled along the Paramatta road towards his school. It continued after he got out of the car, as he ran up to a group of office workers having a coffee and smoke and cast a spell on them, which they all thought was hysterical.
Jarvis seemed to be the only little person who had gone the whole hog and dressed up, but his Carer said that Bernie the wizard, who was coming in, would make him his assistant. I'm sure Jarvis would have nominated himself regardless of his outfit anyway!
During the drive home, Jarvis kept talking and talking about his day. He told Felix and I about Bernie the wizard, how they'd made potions containing frogs blood and cast spells. He truly had a wonderful day.
Now Jarvis has always been a very small eater, with every meal being battle for Adrienne and myself. However, I think being a wizard for the day was hungry work, as for the first time ever, I saw him eat ALL of his dinner. Now as I write at 7.45pm, Adrienne has just come up to me and said that Jarvis has just wolfed down a plate of sandwiches. Now that's magic!
House Dad.
