Jabs - Fillings - Big Sister Claire

Jarvis had a bit of a shocker this morning, as he had a Doctor's appointment at 9am, which involved a jab in each arm, then a visit to the Dentist's to have his problem front tooth looked at. This involved more pain, all of which he dealt with really well. So well in fact, his beloved Mumma bought him a Play Doh ice cream set.

He was feeling and looking a bit under the weather from the drama of the two events, so when I received a sms from Claire who we met on the train a couple of weeks ago, I thought it would be nice to invite her over for a visit. Claire was in desperate need of a break from her studies and jumped at the chance to hang with our family for the afternoon.

Jarvis and I drove over to collect Claire and spent the rest of the afternoon just hanging, as only we know how. When we chill, we chill big time and insisted that Claire do the same and make herself at home. Well, Claire is now officially Jarvis Big Sister, so has to do, as we do on lazy days.

The afternoon lead onto early evening, where we enjoyed a bbq made up of left-overs, which didn't taste too bad. While we were eating Jarvis made up a concoction of drink, chalk, sausage and other yucky bits, which he then dropped on the floor, as little people are want to do. It looked gross and had the appearance of vomit - YUK!

So yeah, a day that started off being pretty yucky for Jarvis, turned into a beautifully relaxing day, with a new family member and lots of chilling - just perfect ;o)
