Kegworth School Halloween Festival

While out with my running buddies on Friday morning, Manal told me that her boys school, Kegworth, was having its annual Halloween Festival the following night. What a great opportunity for the boys to try out their new Halloween costumes I thought.

So it was, that we ventured into new areas of our district, be it only 1.9-kilometers from our home, to Kegworth school on Saturday night with Jarvis the Vampire ready to do some vamping. He was so thrilled to see so many other little people dressed up for the occasion and just couldn't wait to get inside the school grounds.

Once inside, we said hello to Manal, who was helping out for a wee while on the lolly stall. Then Jarvis found Manal's youngest boy Cameron and the boys spent about 20-minutes going crazy up and down the big slide. It was the first time that Jarvis and Cameron have played together and the boys are as spirited and as full of life, as each other. It's wonderful to see.

We stayed for nearly three-hours and had just the best fun. It was so nice to do something in the Community and great to know that all the money we spent, would be channeled back into the school.

House Dad.
