We drove over nice and early and arrived at Siggy's place, where the boys made the most of her springy bed and had lots of fun bouncing around on it. Then, as it was a pretty dull day, we thought we'd go to a local mall to avoid any rain that might be coming our way.
I don't like using malls as an entertainment option for my boys, however this was a new mall to us and luckily had quite a good play area. It was also a great opportunity for Siggy and I to catch up on all the gossip on how Betty and Evie, our old neighbours and the girls Siggy looked after, were doing.
It was a wonderful morning and all the boys loved seeing Siggy again, as she had been a major part of our home life over the past year. Fingers crossed, we should see more of Siggy in the future.
The rest of the afternoon was spent playing in the yard, as the rain that was predicted, failed to materialise. We went searching for and found some creepy bugs, played catch and running races and generally had a wonderful boy time. The boys also enjoyed an outside bath with lots and lots of bubbles.
The final act of the day was to make some plaster molds of Christmas decorations, from a kit that I picked up at the mall in the morning. Jarvis had been pestering me all afternoon to make them, however, I had to wait for Adrienne to get home to look after Felix, as the wee guy would have wanted to help out and that would have been a shocker.
House Dad.
