Jarvis started off his day by being his beloved Mumma's hero, by squashing and flushing away a large cockroach, that had scampered into the house overnight. They are pretty yucky things, but all of our doorways are sprayed with killer, so they are pretty much buggered within minutes of entering the house. It still takes quite a brave person to pick a still squirming one up and dispose of it.
I had promised Adrienne that I would take things easy over the next seven-week school holiday period. With this in mind, we had no real plans to do much today, except for a few wee errands that needed doing. Our first was to drop the car off with the valet, as it was in dire need of a clean up. This meant that we had a spare hour, so with Felix asleep, Jarvis and I hung around the Italian Forum, where we bumped into a visiting group of Japanese school kids. They all wanted their picture taken with Jarvis, which was fun, but as there was about 200-hundred of them, Jarvis soon began to tire of the picture taking. He did impress them though, as he left by saying "Matane", which they were blown away with.
In the afternoon, we just hung around the house and sorted out the remaining toy boxes that we started sorting out yesterday. It was fun for the boys, as they got to have ALL their toys in the one room, but frustrating for me, as they kept mixing up the toys! In the end though, I got all the toys into their own boxes and up into the loft.
When Jarvis beloved Mumma came home, we spent a few minutes out in the backyard, as we needed to pick some of the vegetables that Jarvis Nanny Ronnie set up for him. Jarvis and Adrienne ate a couple of tomatoes and picked some zucchini and beans. Now I'll have to find some imaginative way to cook them, so that the boys will eat them. Not big veggie fans my boys!
