We drove down to Platinum VW Spares to pick up Jarvee, who has just had a brand new engine fitted. That's not a reconditioned one, but totally NEW. It was raining hard on the way back, so we waited until this arvo to go for a family spin.
We'll take it in for a W.O.F soon, as we expect a lot more work is needed. We have to wait until we have the $$$$ to do that, so there's no rush.
The boys had a great time on our wee drive, especially Jarvis who gets to sit in the front and has a great view of what's going on. I love being back behind the wheel of an old VW, the smell, the squeaks and rattles and the 0 - 60 in 45-seconds!
