After we left the Internet Cafe yesterday, Jarvis and I had a play in Hyde Park. In the park is a memorial to the ANZAC fallen, which includes a large shallow pool. On spotting the pool Jarvis pointed and called out 'Wwwwwwwww', obviously meaning water. The poor man was desperate to get in fully clothed. I would have let him, but was not sure how this would have gone down, being a memorial and all. So I decided to flag our trip to the museum and drive up to Bondi beach, which is only 10-mins from our place.
We stayed on the beach for an hour and it was magical as I told Jarvis about sand, waves, surfers and seaweed. Normally Jarvis is a whirlwind, but I could see he was taking it all in. He kept pointing down the beach and saying 'Bbbbbbbbb', which could mean anything, as most of the cool things in his world begin with the the letter B. So I walked along the beach to where he was pointing and spotted the thing he wanted to check out. Have a look at our little surfer dude below :o)

Hi Jarvis - you rock! I love the t-shirt in your sufing photos. My mummy told me about your website as she read about it in Little Treasures. Can you get your daddy to tell my mummy what he used to put polls on your site? I want to put one on my site, as I have no teef, and want people to guess when my first one will pop thru. Keep growing Jarvis, and teaching your parents lots!
Thanks, Mac.
