I had a strange conversation yesterday, on my way back from the Internet cafe. Jarvis was sleeping, as this woman stood besides me at the lights. She looked at Jarvis and said 'Ah that's the best time when they are sleeping, they don't make any noise', to which I replied, " I don't mind, awake or asleep, he's the perfect son', to which she replied, 'Ah, but wait until they grow up, they become horrible', to which I replied, 'No, I think being surrounded by positive parents and friends, everything will be just perfect' She just stood there not knowing what to say, she couldn't think of anything else negative to say. There then followed 60-seconds of awkward silence, as we waited for the lights to change. As she hurried away, I said, 'Have a nice day'...didn't get a reply!!!
While Nefni Bear had quick machine wash, much to Jarvis' bemusement (see pic below) Jarvis and I spent a few hours at the Sydney Aquarium, where Jarvis has now taken on the role of 'unofficial' tour guide. He stands in front of people looking into the tanks and points at the fish inside, saying, 'Mmmummma, mmmmummma' This is his word for his Mumma and anything else in his world he loves.
House Dad.

Hi again!
Isn't it funny how intriguing these blogs are when you don't even actually know the people?!!
Thanks for those positive comments - sorry you felt homesick, we are so lucky living here with scenes like that though.
Hope not all the locals are like your friend at the lights!!
Take care, Bex :)
