Weekend Wrap - 30th October

There's lots of rain forcast for today and the remainder of the week in Sydney, which is good news! Seriuosly, we are grateful for the break in the hot weather and although it's raining, it's still very warm. So warm infact, that Working Mum and Jarvis are at the local pool while I update the blog (see pic below of Jarvis' teeth, which he took himself, just now).

Our weekend started with a lovely breakfast at our new local cafe, just down the hill from our new house in Paddington. The area has a nice villiage feel, in the inner city. If we could liken it to a place back home, it would be Ponsonby/Rema's. After that we visited our new park, which has a very cool Toddler area (see pics below).

The other highlight of the weekend, was brunch with our mate Louise, in a nice cafe, over the road from Russel Crowes Sydney apartment. It was great to see Louise, who will be our first baby-sitter in a few weeks time. We'll take it easy with a quick stroll and visit to a cafe to get Jarvis used to being without us. Funny that the two of us have not been out alone in 16-months, but to be honest, we are a family and are in no rush to escape from our wee man. I'm sure, when we do, it will feel very strange.

House Dad.
