Today we headed off to Point Piper to have lunch with James, Karen and Charlie and to watch the start of the Sydney to Hobart race. Their place over looks the start, so it was cool to see the action live on TV and from the balcony. I remember doing the same for the last America's Cup. Anyway we had to leave after an hour as Jarvis developed a really high temperature. We brought him home and he was up to 39 degrees. So we quickly got some Pamol into the wee guy and both Working Mum and Jarvis had a sleep.
It's now 6pm and his temperature is still on the high side, but he seems a bit brighter, even eating some fruit and ice cream. So we'll now just keep an eye on him overnight and hope that it's related to his teething.
And House Dad. Well from not knowing a thing about the Sydney to Hobart race, I've now been following it on-line and will most likely stay up all night, following the progress of the Kiwi boats. Jeeze, do I have a sport addiction or what?
As Jarvis is crook, I've not taken any pictures today, so here's a picture of the NZ flag, to show our support for Team Alfa Romeo and the other Kiwi boats.
House Dad.
