The Hunter Valley - Day One

This morning we got a wonderful email from Aunty Sophie who is presently in Canada, carving up the slopes on her snowboard. Sophie got up at the crack of dawn to make Jarvis a snowman in sub-zero temperatures. Thanks Soph.

In the afternoon we drove up to Maitland to stay at a beautiful vineyard, that also has accommodation. We picked up Adrienne from work and then did the 2.5 hour drive, which went pretty well, with just the one stop for refreshments.

Once there we had a play on the playground, which was amongst the vines. It was very idyllic and there was not a single Police helicopter to be heard.
