Sunday Stuff

I didn't get much of an oppurtunity to be with my beautiful whanau this morning, as I had a 25-kilomtetre cross country race from Woodford to Glenbrook in the Blue Mountains. It was some good 'Lee Time' away from Ade, Jarvis and Felix, but I do miss them so much. Anyway, it went pretty well, with me finishing in 2-hours, 13-minutes and 53-seconds, a time I'm stoked with, considering I've never run cross country before. Boy it was tricky with lots of trips, snkle turns and falls allover the place. At the end there were heaps of people with bandages and plasters, though thankfully, I got through unscathed.

So what did the whanau do while I was out of town? Well they went to the mall to buy a new duvet and cover set, as Nanny Trish is coming to stay for a week over the school holidays. Jarvis is so, so excited about Nanny Trish coming over, that he keeps asking when his Nanny will be here. Only two more sleeps now little guy.

I came home to find the whanau out in the backyard enjoying the sunshine, as it was a corker of a day in N.S.W. Adrienne told me that Jarvis had been complaining of having a headache all day, which I've never heard him mention before. I was quite worried and have been keeping a close eye on him since. Adrienne said that he really missed his Dah and it showed, as he came out to me when I was on the PC, climbed on my lap and almost fell asleep. To keep him awake, we spent some time on YouTube looking a cats doing silly stuff, which is always fun.

Jarvis even got to wear a new set of PJ's to bed, as he was feeling unwell, so I thought we'd do something special. I think he'll be right, but I get so anxious when my babies get sick.

House Dad.
