Jarvis was excited all morning, as Becs was coming to play with him in the afternoon. So from 12-noon until 1.pm, the wee guy sat out on the front porch waiting for his special buddy. He was stoked when Becs, or My Becs as he calls Becs, arrived. It's funny, as he has selective deafness, as I only have to whisper Becs is Dah's friend and he'll shout "No, Becs is MY FRIEND."
Becs did a wonderful job of taking the boys out to a local park, so that I could get a mattress set up in the front room, so that Nanny Trish has somewhere to sleep. We have such a shoe box sized house, that Nanny Trish will be sleeping in the front room, on the floor. It'll be handy, as she'll be able to lean back, while in bed and flick the ash from her fag into the fireplace...NOT. Jarvis might give his Nanny Trish talking too about smoking, as rightfully, he thinks it's VERY BAD and makes your brain turn to goo.
While on the subject of Nannies, Jarvis received a belated birthday card from his Nanny Ronnie and Granddad Steve in England. Becs opened it for him and read the message. It also contained a cheque for $75, that Jarvis says he'll buy himself some toys with. So thanks Nanny Ronnie and Granddad Steve for the card and money, from a very pleased Jarvis.
Right, both boys are fast asleep at 7.30pm, so Adrienne and I are going to do what parents of little people do, when they get a rare moment together - We are off to SLEEP!
House Dad.
