Adrienne tells me that they had a wonderful time at The Powerhouse Museum, where Jarvis made a Dragon, that he scared his Dah with on his return. Jarvis even held the Sydney map book on the way and gave his beloved Mumma directions, which is such a clever thing for a nearly 3-year-old to do.
Adrienne and I are not sure, but we think we've only been out without Jarvis three or four times since he was born. It's certainly not more than four, I know that. But anyway, Adrienne and I had a hot late afternoon date today when we went to see Dame Edna's show at The Capital Theatre. We've been big fans of Barry Humphries' characters for many years and once had the pleasure of seeing him in London, where we had front row seats and I can tell you, I've never been so scared in my life. Come to that, I've never been covered so much in spit and chardy either, courtesy of Sir Les Paterson! Anyway, this time round we were far enough back and had a wonderful night, with the biggest bonus being that I got to go with the MOST BEAUTIFUL woman in the theatre, my stunning wife Adrienne.
Talking of stunning woman, Jarvis didn't do too bad either, as he had the MOST BEAUTIFUL baby sitter in the elegant form of his fav Aunt Manz, who he just adores. We had to leave while Jarvis was sleeping, but we returned to find Jarvis buzzing with excitement after spending 3-hours with the wonderful Manz. She's such a wonderful person and I really love the way she cuddles and adores Adrienne and Jarvis.
House Dad.
