Roses For Mumma

Adrienne had a very shitty day at work yesterday and Jarvis and I were sad to see her so unhappy last night that we thought we'd something about it. So unbeknown to Adrienne, Jarvis and I snuck out to the PC and onto the Interflora site, where we had a look at the various bouquets on offer. I think I've taught Jarvis well, as he immediately spotted the roses and pointed at them, saying "Flowers, Mumma." So that was that and before my run this morning I went on-line and placed our order. However, before I could run, I left a note on the PC saying 'Do not do touch PC - virus'. The reason being that that confirmation email still hadn't arrived into our in-box before I left, and didn't want to spoil the surprise for Adrienne. Plus, nothing gets past Adrienne money wise, so she would have spotted that we'd spent some money.

It was important for Jarvis and I to ensure that Adrienne was happier, as we think she is just the best Wife and Mother in the world. EVERYTHING I've learnt as a parent, has been Adrienne's doing, she's my rock when depression creeps up on me and has stood by me through all my ups, downs and all the bad stuff in my life. For Jarvis, Mumma is his reason for being, the person that brought him into this world and who will spend the rest of her living days caring, loving and looking out for her beloved son. In her two boys eyes and hearts, Adrienne/Mumma is without equal. We love her more than life.

So our day ticked by, with Jarvis asking "Where Mumma, flowers?" more times than I care to remember, until it was time to pick her up from the train station. Jarvis was hanging out of the car window with, as you can see in the picture below, immense anticipation for the arrival of his beloved Mumma. As soon as he sighted her it was "Mumma, love you, flowers. Mumma, love you, flowers."

Now we are home and Jarvis has helped his Mumma arrange the roses in the vase. It's a happier house with lots of smiles and joy, all because we have the most wonderful and precious woman, our Adrienne/Mumma in our life. xox

House Dad.

Wow Lee that was such a sweet thing to do for Adrienne, you are all so lucky to have each other.

What a great man Jarvis will grow up to be, being a part of all the special things you do for Adrienne. He can only but treat his future wife the way he has witnessed you doing.

Your days are just so lovely to read about.

Charlie.

That is wonderful! Adriene looks happy and beautiful.

With 11 weeks to go before version 2.0, I bet she is more tired than usual.
