Jarvis was even more stoked to see his best buddy Olly when he arrived at school. Jarvis and Olly have not seen each other for over three weeks, due to the holidays, and you could see how happy they were to be back together again.
Jarvis was a bit under the weather when I dropped him off at school and I suffered from separation anxiety all day. I keep thinking about him and worrying that he was OK. It's funny that yesterday he could drive me crazy and today, his first day back at school, I'd miss him so much.
To make up for my feeling of guilt, after school I took him to a medical book shop that we often pass on the way to school. In its windows are large skeletons that cost thousands of dollars, that always amaze wee Jarvis. He always stops to point at them and tell me the various parts of the body. They also have little skeletons too, so we popped in to buy one. Jarvis was delighted and strangely nicknamed him Tanty. I have no idea why, but I'm sure he's heard the word at school, as it's not a term we use. But yeah, the newest member of our family is called Tanty ;o)
