So it was that we jumped into the car and drove down Johnson street to Bi-Centennial Park. Both boys were screaming with delight and just couldn't get out of the car fast enough, so that they could run (crawl for Felix) off onto the grass.
The first place to play was the fantastic play ground, that we've nicknamed Pirate Park, as it has a huge pirate ship at its centre. Jarvis got straight in and made some friends who he played with for ages. Saying that, he didn't neglect his wee Brother either and played at being a troll under the bridge, which really delighted Felix. He also took his wee Brother for a few trips down the slide, or slippery dip as it's called in Australia. This park has the most extraordinary slide that's made from metal rollers. I'll add a wee video to show you. It's truly funky and gives you a great butt massage as you go down.
After playing, we walked over to the park area and set up our picnic. It was so nice to sit down in the sun with the boys and enjoy our lunch. I'm so glad that I was prepared enough to have made it.
Then it was onto the serious business of throwing rocks into Blackwattle Bay. Poor Dah had to scramble down among the rocks and pick up rocks and pebbles for his boys to throw. The task was made all the more difficult due to the fact that four-year-olds and 11-month-olds are not the most accurate of rock/pebble throwers, as plenty of the missiles whizzed past my head.
As you'll see from the pictures below, I managed to get an amazing shot of Jarvis throwing a rock. You can see the the rock just leaving his wee hand, as it hurtles towards the bay. I love that picture, as it's such a boy thing.
We did stop rock throwing for a while, as the Police helicopter came for a flight over Blackwattle Bay. The helicopter is in the sky for pretty much all of the day at present, as part of the security for World Youth Day. It was great, as it hovered only about 200-metres from us, which the boys, including me, just loved.
Then after about 4-hours in the park, it was time to take the 3-minute drive home, which was just enough time for both boys to fall asleep, exhausted from their wonderful morning in the park. Happy days :o)
House Dad.

What a beautiful day you all had. Save that photo of the rock throwing for when Jarvis might be a world famous discus thrower one day and that can be the before shot!
What a great day you gave your boys!
