Getting Ready For Nanny Ronny

Jarvis and I were up nice and early, as Felix has kept his Olds up for most of the night with a vomiting bug, so we decided that we'd treat the family to a McDonald's breakfast. It's so nice to do stuff with just Jarvis sometimes and he feels like a 'Man', when we do stuff together.

After breakfast Jarvis and I drove over to Iron Cove Bay to see some running buddies of mine from The Woodstock Runners. Jarvis was delighted to meet my running buddy Thalia, who he hit it off with straight away. He also meet another running friend of mine Lorraine, who was just blown away by his curly locks. The visit lasted about 20-minutes before he got bored and wanted to go off and explore. This resulted in Jarvis and I coming home with pockets full of cones, twigs and other stuff from trees.

At home while I started on moving toys, beds, sofas and other stuff in preparation for the arrival of Nanny Ronny and Granddad Steve this week, Jarvis painted some of the treasures he discovered at Iron Cove. He did so well and entertained himself with paint, glitter and cones for ages, while Adrienne and I shifted stuff around our tiny house.

However, once the loft door was open, it was goodbye painting and hello fun in the loft. Jarvis just loves going up there and bringing toys down. This time though, it was one way traffic, as most of the toys had to go up into the loft, so that we could move one of the sofas into the playroom. I told Jarvis that we'd tell Nanny Ronny when she arrives that he does not have any toys and that we can trick her into buying him some more for him ;o)

House Dad.

Yossi's going to school this year, so we had to cut his hair a little shorter. He doesn't have curly hair like Jarvis or he'd be able to keep it. He calls it his 'big hair' which is no more.
