Jarvis The Builder - Can He Fix It

Jarvis was delighted to see a digger in his buddy Scott's backyard when he returned home from school today. It was wee boy heaven, as Scott's yard was full of builders, sharp tools, heavy machinery and lots and lots of dirt. Jarvis had a wonderful time talking to all the builders and helping them pack away their tools. The highlight though was getting to sit in the digger and pull all the levers.

We then spent some time writing with chalk out in the service lane. Scott joined the boys and insisted that he write the name of his English soccer team on the ground. Scott tried to write West Ham, but as you can see from the picture below, he actually wrote Wes Ham, totally missing out the T. But hey, West Ham fans are not the brightest people in the world (ha ha...sorry Granddad Dave).

Jarvis then moved on from soccer to a real mans game of rugby, bringing out his All Blacks ball. He was stoked when one of the builders Wayne, who is a good Wellington boy, couldn't resist the temptation to play with Jarvis. The boys played catch for several minutes, with Wayne commenting on how good Jarvis throwing and catching was, which made for one VERY happy and proud Dah :o)

House Dad.
