Jarvis is just loving having his Grandparents around and even got to make a salad with his Nanny for dinner. Sadly though, Jarvis is not a big fan of green stuff, so basically had a beetroot and cheese salad.
After dinner Jarvis and I drove over to The Canada Bay Club in Five Dock to sign him up for Little Athletics, which is something I'm keen for him to do. Jarvis was really into it too, as he's been to lots of running events with his Dah. It cost $82 to sign him up for the season and another $40 for the kit, which is not too bad, as that's all you pay for a season. There will be more expense, as he needs running shoes and a track suit, but we'll plead poverty to Nanny Ronnie and see if we can squeeze some $$$ from her - She's loaded anyway ;o)
At the signing in night Jarvis wanted to get into his club colours as soon as possible and could not wait to get home and tell everyone that he's now an athlete and does sport for The Western Suburbs Little Athletics Club. The only stumbling block now is that there are three patches to sew onto his top. Who sews these days? That's something olds do isn't it. Um, I wonder!
House Dad.

Ha, had to laugh at the sewing comment Lee, you better hope he doesn't want to be a boy scout one day, will be a bit expensive sending the blanket and badges to Nanny Ronnie to sew on for you!
