Jarvis was a bit hyper active with excitement at his first Little A's meeting, which didn't mix too well with a stressed out and tired Dah. However, we made it through the night with Jarvis taking part in a warm up and stretch, followed by a short run. Then onto the serious business of track and field with some obstacle course running, a relay race with mini-hurdles and baton change over, some shot put, concluding with a 100-metre sprint. All of which took just over an hour.
After Jarvis had finished his sports, we met up with our friends Hector (pictured below) and his boys Tyler and Cameron. I run with the boys Mum, Manal and it is through Manal that we found out about Little A's.
The final act of the night was for Jarvis to devour a hot dog, like I've never seen him eat one before. He's such a picky eater, but boy did he scoff his hot dog down. I guess being an Athlete like our Jarvie is, requires super large amounts of energy food.
House Dad.

Wow, go Jarvis! You look like a natural. Love the baton photo!
I'm going to the Pacific games in Canberra to watch athletics at the end of November, there might be kids from your club there? There will be 25 countries competing.
Not sure what I'm going to do for 6 days in Canberra, I hope they make good coffee there!
