Reptile Park

We thought we would head off today to the Australian Reptile Park to give Nanny and Granddad a taste of outback Australia before they go home. The Reptile Park is 1 1/4 hr from Sydney so its a bit of a ride for wee boys, but they were brilliant though, as I sat in the back to keep them entertained while Granddad drove us to our destination. Felix thought this was very funny, he kept pointing at Granddad, laughing and clapping his wee hands.

Once at the park, Jarvis took charge and showed his Grandparents around. We started off in the reptile part that is kitted out as an Egyptian Mummy area which Jarvis loves. He ran around showing Nanny and Granddad around. We then headed off to the spider part that has a lot of interactive kiddy things that's just lovely. As you can see from the below photos, Jarvis fell in love with the crocodile man, every time he saw him wandering about Jarvis went bounding over yelling 'hello friend'.

It was very entertaining at the park, as there was a tour from Korea there to see all the animals but they were more interested in Jarvis and his hair. Jarvis gets a lot of attention for his hair, especially from Asians and old ladies. They all had to take a photo of him, which he was very patient with obviously, loving being the centre of attention.

Jarvis scored some binoculars just like Granddad Steve. His Granddad is a bird watcher, so Jarvis was keen to be able to follow him around and spot stuff through his own binoculars.

Adrienne to finish later...Felix needs boob!
