While walking down George Street the boys scored some mini rugby balls from a promo girl. These were put to good use for about an hour in Martins Place, where we played catch, kick and rolling of the balls, much to the delight of the boys and the office workers. It was lots and lots of fun, believe me.
We then scored some more freebies in the shape of free Movenpack ice cream. It was well timed too, as we had got quite hot from playing catch and needed a sugar rush too. The ice cream did the trick and had all three boys ready to push on for the rest of the afternoon.
Our next stop was Dymocks outlet bookshop. It's in Pitt Street and is full of reduced books, which is something I'm into, a bargain. Jarvis found the book he wanted immediately and I certainly approved. It's another of those pop up books that he's into, but this one is on the human body. It's way too advanced for him, but I'm NEVER going to say no to my Jarvie wanting to buy books. It's got lots of cool pull out and pop up bits, plus a pumping heart inside.
Then it was home on the train to find the car parked at the station. Jarvis always checks that we have the right car by reading the NZ sticker on the back - Go NZ :o)
Even though it's only officially the second day of Spring, it was nice and warm in the late afternoon sun, so I filled up one of the clam shells with warm bubbly water, so that the boys could have a soak after spending all day in the dirty city. It was a great way to clean them up, plus I try and get some sunlight on their skin early before the summer arrives.
House Dad.

What a great day out you all had. We very much welcome spring over in NZ as the weather has been so bad this winter, snow in Christchurch 4 times! However we have had a couple of very beautiful days to welcome spring.
Keep up the excellent job you do Lee!
