So with this in mind, Adrienne and the boys set off to a local mall to buy some new Christmas tree decorations. I was having a sleep in, as I picked up a tummy bug, however I did have to pop up into the loft to get down the Christmas tree while they were out.
Adrienne had a wonderful time with the boys, who went on all the rides at the mall. They truly must have thought it was Christmas, as I refuse to waste $2 on a ride that last about 120-seconds - Bah Humbug!
On their return home they found the Christmas tree erected and ready to be decorated. I was still sleeping, but awoke to the commotion of two very excited boys. It was division of labor, at its best, as I put hooks on the decorations, which were then passed by Jarvis to his beloved Mumma, who hung them up. The final process was completed by Felix who then pulled them all off again. It's funny, as we had exactly the same problem with Jarvis a couple of years ago.
Oh, and there was some debate as to where the Christmas tree should stand. Adrienne and myself got our way, as Jarvis suggestion of putting it smack bang in the centre of our tiny lounge was ridiculous. When ask why he wanted it there, he replied 'So when we have people over, we can all dance and sing around it." How sweet.
House Dad.
