Working Mum has been out most nights this week with her job, so I was keen to have some adult time. Thankfully the wonderful Louise came to my rescue and along with Rosie and Celeste, we all headed off to a great party in the Newton area of Sydney. I was a complete shambles at making conversation with new people - where was Javis when I needed him? Anyway, I got home at 3.00am after a great night out.
Today the whanau headed off to Watson's Bay to catch up with James, Karen and Charlie and to sample some of the famous Doyle's fish and chips . The weather started out damp, but soon lifted, so the boys got naked and played on the beach. Wee Charlie was straight into the water for a splash and sand chucking fest. Jarvis however is still not too sure about the sea and only managed a wee paddle, though I'm sure his confidence will grow over the summer. Anyway, we are all home now for a much needed afternoon nap. Below is a picture of Jarvis and Charlie playing in the dirt/pebbles.

Ahh... Summer time! How are you coping with the intense Aussie heat? I suppose, what with having lived in Auckland, it's not too bad? ; )
Jarvis will take to water eventually - it'll just take some time, that's all. I'm really glad to see that you and your family are making and fantastic life for yourselves over in Australia.
Take care! and Merry Christmas!
