The Home Alone Boys - Day Four & Five

The Home Alone Boys Day Four was a bit of a shambles, as Jarvis fell asleep on his way to Fox Studios. This put our whole day out of sync, hence no post yesterday and we know how much I like and need my routine. Anyway, he woke after about 40-minutes and had a play, however he slept again from 2.40 to 4.45pm, meaning we had to cancel our visit to see Bridget and Fynn. This did however mean that he had plenty of energy to play with Anne later on that day.

Today, Lisa and Oscar showed us around Rushcutter Bay, an area we've not been to before. Jarvis jumped from the car shouting, "Booo, booo", which in Jarvee speak is boat. He ran to the water side and was besides himself with excitement, as were Tommy, Sophie and Alexander who were there also with their Mum Jane.

The rest of the morning was spent playing in the park, whilst Lisa and I had a cup of tea and a wee chat. It was most pleasant, with the highlight being the discovery of a pile of mulch which, the boys climbed, rolled in, threw and collected in their pockets, turn-ups and hair (see pic) So both boys are now sleeping in the their beds, with sticky dirty faces and plenty of mulch - Ah to be a boy!

House Dad.
