We are now into our third day of Adrienne being away and it's going pretty well. As mentioned before, we pace ourselves, so as not to burn out and give each other lots of affection. That would be the thing that Jarvis would miss most from his Mum, the cuddles and kisses. As Adrienne sleeps with Jarvis each night, I miss out on all these, but last night got heaps of them, as Jarvis rolls over every now and then, gives me a cuddle and kiss and says, "Ahhhh".
This morning we caught up with all our friends at play group, then came home and both had a three-hour sleep - fantastic! Then the rest of the arvo was spent playing with play-doh, cars and other toys, before having dinner. Both Jarvis and I had curry for dinner which, was a first for the wee man, and he coped really well. We'll have him on vindaloo's next!
