Jarvis' New Best Buddy

The whanau paid a visit to the mall this morning, as we'd all finished reading our holiday books. Adrienne had just finished reading The Da Vinci Code and I, Funny, Peculiar, which although ended sad, didn't make me cry as much as Norma Farnes book on Spike Milligan. Anyway Adrienne went with some more Dan Brown, and bought Angels and Demons and I, William Shakespeare, by Peter Ackroyd.

Whilst at the mall we spotted a present that was perfect for Jarvis - a Buzz Lightyear toy, which we all ripped open in the mall, so he could play with it. It's now 4.15pm and he's not put it down yet, in fact he slept with Buzz at lunchtime.

From the mall, we went to Sea World and rode on the train, gondola and other rides, whilst I did a couple of solo trips on the flumes and Bermuda Triangle rides.

On the way back, we stopped and Adrienne bought some MASSIVE king prawns, directly off the trawler, which had only caught them a few hours earlier. I'm just marinating them now, for a wonderful BBQ we plan to have tonight.

I think the guys on the boat gave Adrienne extra, as she such a cutie! That's my girl.
