Little Dynamo's Play Date

It was a wet and windy day in Sydney, so we organised to meet Nicole and Tahlia at Little Dynamo's, the coolest place to play in Sydney. We used to frequent the place heaps, but for some reason we've not been there for ages.

So yeah, we rocked up just as they opened, with Nicole and Tahlia arriving a couple of minutes later. The girls found us, as Jarvis and I were doing battle with the compressed-air guns, which are the best toys. I've added a wee video of them below. I wish Adrienne would buy us some, as they'd be great fun to have around the house. Anyway, as you'll see from the video below, Jarvis hits me squarely in the face with his pin point shot.

It was lovely that Nicole and Tahlia came along, as it meant that the adults got to enjoy a coffee and chat, something that can be a bit of a rarity in both our days. Plus, we both got to take on a rather nasty little boy together, who was picking on Jarvis and the other little people. I think having two parents telling him what for, made him clean up his act. I did actually spot his Mother later on, and as expected, she was paying absolutely no attention to her child, choosing instead to spend all her time engrossed in either a magazine or on her phone. In hindsight, I do feel a bit stink for growling at him, when clearly the problem is neglect from his parent.

But on with the fun, that came in bucket fulls this morning. We spent about 3.4-hours at Little Dynamo's and covered, I think, every square inch of the place. Jarvis was also very good, in that he came into the wee under 4's section to play with Felix for a while.

So yeah, a wonderful morning at Little Dynamo's, with our friends Nicole and Tahlia. I'm not sure about Tahlia, but Jarvis and Felix were fast asleep within minutes of pulling away from the car park. I even managed to transfer them both from the car and into their beds for another 90-minutes of sleep, allowing me to even grab a 30-minute power nap myself - wahoo!
