Once Adrienne went off to her course at 8.15am, the boys had a quick bite to eat and drove over to Mount Eliza for some vital groceries. The boys are so good in the supermarket and we never have any melt downs at all. This may be due to the fact that I do everything at such a break neck speed, that the whole thing is over so soon.
After the food shop we set off to find a toys shop, as stupidly we didn't bring any toys to entertain the boys. We found a really quaint wee toy shop and the little old woman inside was delighted to see the boys. Jarvis scored some magnetic toys (it's a well know brand, but I'm tired and in the main complex, so can't remember the brand name) and Felix, a wee push along bus.
After lunch and a three-hour sleep for Felix ( I was right to have a home day) the boys went exploring. We discovered the games room and had fun playing a Jarvis version of pool and then table tennis. I'm still confused by his version and style of play, and still unsure how he won all the games, when I didn't even get to touch any of the balls!
From there we moved to the Gym for a play and then onto the beach, which was very, very windy. So windy in fact, that Jarvis and I laughed ourselves silly, as Felix's snot (his nose like most toddlers is always running) was blowing in long streams, sideways off his face. It then got pretty dark and rough, so we headed home to ready ourselves for the return of Jarvis beloved Mumma.
House Dad.
